The experiment was a resounding failure! The first problem was trying to stamp on a heavily embossed piece of fabric. This caused the image to be broken and bits missing. Then I tried to paint the peacock feather with irridecent inks. The inks were awful with the faux leather. The fake leather can't even come out in a photo. Definitely worth a try on unembossed leather. But you need to make sure you try this with good ventilation. You never know what gases can escape from hot fake leather. Anyway the deadline for the fair is 4 days so I have to get busy making sure the entries are good enough.
